Peanuts fever comes to Creative Theater
YOUR A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN
We have all been anticipating the next Creative Theater production and now we have both Charlie Brown and Nunsense cast! Rehearsals and set work have begun on the Charlie Brown musical based on the Peanuts comic strip characters. You won’t want to miss your favorite characters like Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy, and Schroedar come to life on stage as they try to discover the meaning behind what being a “good man” is all about. Opening night scheduled for July 22nd. Tickets will be available soon for this at https://creativetheater.com/events/
WHAT KIND OF NUNSENSE IS THIS?
Coming soon: September 5-8
We are excited to have cast some of the funniest ladies to cross the Creative Theater stage for this musical comedy. When your convent’s cook accidentally poisons 52 of your fellow sisters what do you do to raise funds for all those burials? How about a variety show! Don’t miss this musical that has been keeping audiences laughing for over 30 years.
Creative Theater to Host Pigeon Forge Chamber Breakfast
We are excited to welcome the Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce on July 18th, from 8 am-10 am. Breakfast will be provided by Chef’s Catering while members learn about how Creative Theater is making an impact. There will be performances by some of our talented youth, testimonials by our performers and volunteers regarding how being apart of this experience has changed them, and networking with local business men and women. We look forward to sharing our passion with these area movers and shakers.
To the Mountain Press for their coverage and review of Annie and Creative Theater. We cannot thank you enough for giving our mission a voice to reach the Sevier County community.

- What work did you do on the Annie production?
Painting, some set building and carpentry, and a little of everything. Sweeping, now I have sweeping down pat.
- What motivates you to put in hard work at the theater?
With my daughter in the production, I am here anyway, so volunteering is easy. And I wanted to help make everyone in the production look good, to make them shine. Because it isn’t about us (volunteers, it’s about them (cast).
- What is your favorite part of this production?
Getting to know everyone, the comradery. Getting to know all the people who volunteer here and the parents. I have never build sets before, so it was an eye opener to see it all come together. All the work that goes into it. To see it all transform has been great to see.
- What would you tell “would-be” volunteers and crew?
You don’t have to be an expert at anything to be a good volunteer. You just need to be willing and have a good attitude.
Thank you! To all the volunteers who give time, care, talents, heart, blood, sweat, tears, and love, both seen and unseen. While you may never dance a step or sing a note, this production couldn’t happen without you. Thank you for all you do!
